Deadline!!! Always deadline!!!
Non-stop working!!!
Not only happens in Hong Kong, but in the UK as well.

I have been worked in the office this week, but construction site. I will stay on site for the rest of the week. Continous working. Tough!!! Really tough!!!

ya, deadline makes everything more tough. i face (and should meet) deadlines everyday.

the most sarcastic is that when you try all your best, probably 200% energy, to complete the task, your boss just let it laying on his/her desk (or even worse-in his/her mailbox only) without paying attention to it anymore. you suddenly realize that there's NO reason to rush! totally fooled by those so-called deadlines.

I think sometimes it is good to know the deadline cos you will know how to allocate your jobs.
My situation now is that facing many jobs, no deadline provided. But my boss will suddently called you and ask "finished?". ai........

No deadlines provided... that is a problem too. Because you have to prioritize your tasks especially you got several tasks at the same time.

Is it possible to ask your boss about the deadline? I tried when I am given big tasks (or the jobs seem to be very time + energy consuming) although it looks a bit fussy...
